Dr. Ho graduated from Yale University Medical College, received clinical brain surgery inpatient training at Ghiglia University and NIH/NCI, and did basic research related to brain tumor specialty at NIH. Dr. Ho worked clinically at UT Austin Medical College, and set up a laboratory to carry out closely integrated clinical translational medicine research.
Dr.Ho found in previous studies that PP2A can regulate the anti-tumor ability of t cells, and after combined with PD-1, it can effectively inhibit tumor growth in various tumor models.
Background Requirements: The visiting scholar should have a background in molecular biology or immunology (no tumor immune background is required). Research Direction: The laboratory does tumor immunity research, mainly studies brain tumors, studies the immunosuppressive mechanism in brain tumors, and thus develops new immunotherapy.
