The Ruella laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking fellows to study the mechanisms of relapse after Chimeric Antigen Receptor T Cell immunotherapy and develop novel CART therapies.

Backgrounds in immunology and/or hematology preferred. Applicants with backgrounds in protein engineering, cancer biology, molecular biology, and genome engineering who have a research interest in immunology are also encouraged to apply. 

Applicants should have an M.D. or Ph.D. or a visiting scholar or equivalent doctoral degree. The ideal candidate should have an excellent publication record, be able to work independently and in a team, and be prepared to supervise students and technicians.
