Dana-Farber Cancer Institute–Harvard Medical School
The Department of Cancer Immunology and Virology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence who are working on central questions in cell therapy, with a primary focus on the treatment of cancer. Both basic scientists and translational investigators are encouraged to apply.
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has made a major commitment to cell therapies and has built a cell processing lab capable of supporting innovative clinical trials. DFCI is a major research center in the Boston area, and the institute and the department offer a vibrant and interactive research community in both basic and translational immunology research.
The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Microbiology & Immunobiology or Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The position provides an attractive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational investigators. The Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School offer outstanding technical resources in many areas, including mass cytometry, flow cytometry, imaging, proteomics and genomics. Candidates are expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
