A junior postdoctoral or visiting scholar position is available in the laboratory of Dr. David Pitt, Department of Neurology, Yale School of Medicine (David Pitt Lab). 

We are conducting translational research in multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurodegenerative diseases, utilizing MS lesion tissue from our brain bank, human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived glial cells and glia derived exosomes with the overall goal of understanding the mechanisms of neurodegeneration.

We are looking for a computational scientist or biologist with strong computational interest who will implement and use data analysis pipelines applied to multi-omics single cell analysis. This position is part of a larger effort to generate, analyze and integrate spatial transcriptomic data with highly multiplexed immunofluorescencent staining and sNuc-Seq data sets, obtained from CNS tissue. Dr. David van Dijk, a computer scientist at Yale, whose group develops machine learning methods to big biomedical data, will provide co-mentoring (David van Dijk Lab).
