Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available for highly motivated candidates with a background in molecular/cellular biology、epigenetics、immunology or cancer mouse modeling. Projects will focus on thebiology and genetics of prostate cancer,

the identification of noveltherapeutic targets, and the mechanism underlying metastasis and treatmentresistance.

We study these areas by using genetically engineered mouse models, transcriptionalprofiling, single-cell based analysis as well as other traditional biochemical,genetic, molecular and cell biological approaches.

A Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry、Molecular Biology or equivalent is required. Applicants with good publication recordand relevant research experience with epigenetics、immunology、or mouse modelsare preferred. We highly value hard work、curiosity、innovation、teamwork and professional development in combinationwith a healthy work/life balance. The salary will be based on the NIH postdocsalary scale. The postdoc candidates should expect to join the lab in fourmonths.

The Principal Investigator of our laboratory is Dr. Di Zhao, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Experimental Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Zhao received her Ph.D. degree from Fudan University and postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Ronald A. DePinho. Dr.Zhao has identified many biomarkers and therapeutic targets in prostate, breastand pancreatic cancers,

and has an outstanding publication record as first author (Nature 2017, Cancer Cell 2013,J Clin Invest 2014, G&D2018, et al.).

(1) understanding how oncogenic signalingpathways and tumor microenvironment regulate cancer development and metastasis,and

(2) searching for biomarkers and context-specific therapeutic targets forpersonalized cancer medicine.

The research in our laboratory is funded by NIH Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00,2018-2023),

Prostate Cancer FoundationYoung Investigator Award (2017-2020), CPRITRecruitment of First-Time Tenure-Track Faculty Award (2019-2023), and amongothers.
