Position Summary：

The position will have an academic appointment in the Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: Defining a well-developed virtual population within GastroPlus for PBPK modeling for NAFLD/NASH patients but could expand into other disease areas.

Validate population differences through development of GastroPlus PBPK models for five (5) compounds; draft journal manuscript(s) in collaboration with Simulations Plus.

Develop, update, and/or iterate existing DILIsym software sub-models such as those for cholestatic liver injury and bile acid-mediated liver injury and/or adaptation to liver injury through a variety of modes of action.

Educational Requirements ：

PhD or a visiting scholar other relevant doctoral degree in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline.

Qualifications and Experience ：

A strong background in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in Pharmacometrics and the modelling of data, as well as familiarity with the required software.
