Postdoc Position in Vascular Biology/Glaucoma 

The Quaggin lab, based at the Feinberg Cardiovascular & Renal Research Institute in Chicago at Northwestern University, has one postdoctoral position open now. We study fundamental mechanisms of vascular signaling pathways and their role in development and diseases of specialized microvascular beds and lymphatics. An opening to participate in impactful research related to uncovering mechanisms and developing therapies for glaucoma is available. 

Postdoctoral scientists in the lab will conduct cutting-edge research in a protected, interactive, highly collaborative, and well-funded environment, with access to shared facilities including sequencing, bioinformatics, imaging, metabolomics, nanotechnology, and genome editing.

Qualifications for these positions include Ph.D. or M.D. degree(s) (or anticipate receiving their degree in the near future) with less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience. Candidates with relevant training involving vascular biology, and signal transduction, especially with wet-lab experience, are particularly encouraged to apply.
