A new postdoctoral position is open in the research group of Dr. Marcia B. Goldberg at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. The project focuses on the mechanisms of a new pattern recognition molecule that we found participates in recognition of bacterial LPS in human macrophages. Using cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics, we will gain new insights into the mechanisms of activation of inflammasomes by gram-negative bacterial LPS. Open to individuals holding PhD, MD, or MD-PhD.
