美国西北大学博士后职位招聘–生物信息学/生物统计学/肿瘤生物学方向
We are seeking a motivated and talented post-doctoral fellow to join the Ahmed laboratory at Northwestern University’s Department of Neurosurgery. Our research group is dedicated to generating a detailed cell atlas of human brain tumors using single-cell spatial analysis. We have received funding from multiple NIH grants as part of the Specialized Programs of Research Excellence.
As a postdoc fellow, you will collaborate closely with other lab members, clinicians, and surgeons from our department. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing software tools and analyzing single-cell multi-omics and spatial transcriptomic data to construct the cell atlas of the human brain and gain insights into disease characteristics at the single-cell level.
Our interdisciplinary research combines experimental and translational approaches to genetics and genomics in brain tumors. Our group comprises members with diverse backgrounds, including tumor biology, translational research, genetics, medicine, and bioengineering. We aim to translate our findings into clinical practice by initiating new clinical trials for patients with brain tumors.
Our research utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as next-generation sequencing, single-cell multi-omics, cell culture, brain tumor organoids, and mouse models. This offers an excellent opportunity for cross-training and skill expansion. To learn more about our lab research, please visit our lab website at https://www.ahmed-lab.org.
