In this short-term postdoc position, you will conduct experiments to determine the effect of NMDA agonists and antagonists on coupling between AII amacrine cells in the mouse retina. You will use neurobiotin tracer coupling to assess coupling between these amacrine cells.
Required Qualifications:
⢠A Doctorate Degree (PhD, which is completed within the last 3 years) in the field of neuroscience
⢠Previous experience in dual-whole-cell voltage-clamp
⢠Previous experience using mouse retinal slice and whole-mount preparations
⢠Previous experience with tracer coupling using neurobiotin injections
⢠Previous experience in immunohistochemistry
⢠Previous experience using âœSymphonyâ acquisition and analysis software
⢠Previous experience using confocal microscopy and Fluoview software
