美国犹他大学博士后职位招聘–生物化学、生物学、免疫学或相关领域
Are you excited about exploring new frontiers in immunology while enjoying life where others vacation? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where innovation and discovery are encouraged? The Haecker Lab at the University of Utah has the perfect postdoctoral opportunity just for you!
We’re excited to offer a postdoctoral position to investigate signal transduction and biology of pathogen-recognition receptors using the latest technologies.
What you’ll Do:
Explore Signal Transduction: Investigate the biology of pathogen-recognition receptors, focusing on TLR signaling pathways.
Use Cutting-Edge Tech: Employ advanced techniques like proximity labeling and quantitative mass spectrometry (MS) to discover new
components of TLR signaling.
Characterize Proteins: Analyze newly identified proteins both in vitro and in vivo to discover their functional role in immunobiology.
Why this is Exciting:
Innovative Research: Engage with state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies to push the boundaries of current knowledge.
Publications in Nature, PNAS, and Science Advances highlight the impact of this work.
Impactful Science: Your research will contribute to identifying novel molecules and signaling pathways crucial for regulating immune cells
and understanding immuno-pathologies like inflammation, infection, sepsis and autoimmune diseases.
Career Growth: This position will provide a solid foundation for your future, whether you choose to remain in academia or pursue a career in
industry. You will gain knowledge in fundamental areas such as molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, microscopy, proteomics, and
animal models.
We’re Seeking:
Researchers passionate about signal transduction and immunology.
Educational Background: A PhD and/or MD in Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology, or a related field Individuals with experience in advanced
protein identification and functional analysis.
Experience: Hands-on experience with protein purification, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques is a plus, but not required.
